So after reading people's comments on my blogs the past couple of times, I've noticed that people have questions abotu how much am electronic whitebaord costs and how can schools get founded for them. So I did some research and found these different websites for you to take a look at about prices and how to get funding if a school can't afford them.

Prices of Electronic Whiteboards:

Electronic Whiteboard Warehouse

Ways to get Funding for the Electronic Whiteboards:

Hope this is some helpful information. I know it's a little differnet to look at with the electronic whiteboard, but it's also important to look and take in consideration.

  1. Hi Leah:

Thank you for the direct follow-up on our questions. The additional links for pricing and grant information are just GREAT! The board pricing are not that bad. I saw a lot of models in the $1000 to $5000 price range. I thought they would have cost a lot more.

Also, I checked out the grant links. What I liked the most was the Sample Proposal Index. It is always useful to have success templates that one could model one's own proposal on for a competitive grant submission.

  2. I appreciate the information you provided this week. In addition to the price range that Aja notes, I noticed an installation fee of $300 - $450 range for each IWB package. I'll bet all of these prices will go down in the future, in much the same way as other electronics.

In regard to the grant links, I would think the Let's Write A Grant CD would be helpful and at $54.95 affordable. However, it was not currently available as noted on the School Grant Newsletter website.

  3. I thought the Electronic Whiteboard Warehouse offered an incredible range of products at a wide range of prices. I know that many school districts and tech companies offer grant money for IWB's. I am going to ask my neighbor how she was able to get her's for her classroom at Henniger. I know she had to attend professional development before school started to learn how to use it properly. I will post again when after I speak to her.

  4. Leah,
The grant information is great I always encourage teachers without IWB's to pursue a path like that!
